CAPILLARYS 3 TERA MC (Maximum Capacity) is able to process either very high volumes of the same test, or batches of different tests, providing full walk-away flexibility.

The stand-alone instrument can be upgraded with additional features:

  • A high capacity tube loader (up to 500 tubes)
  • A work cell configuration, with up to three instruments 

Work cell configuration with up to three CAPILLARYS 3 TERAs and a tube loader. Unbeatable autonomy: A Work Cell configuration allows up to three CAPILLARYS 3 TERAs and a tube loader to be connected, increasing throughput to 700 samples without technician intervention.


CAPILLARYS 3 TERA TLA, Sebia are pleased to announce that the last generation instrument, Capillarys 3 TERA, is now connectable to TLA (Track Laboratory Automation), specifically the Inpeco automation (Inpeco brand FlexLab) also distributed by Abbott and Siemens.

The FlexLab connection with Capillarys 3 TERA TLA represents another step ahead in the TLA expansion, opening new opportunities for Lab Automation and bringing the most popular capillary electrophoresis analyser closer to the core clinical laboratory workflow. Designed as a point-of-space connection, Capillarys 3 TERA TLA can process serum and whole blood at the same time thanks to a specific development on FlexLab.

This analyser offers a large menu of tests for the diagnosis and follow up of myeloma, diabetes and haemoglobin disorders. Two assays are now connectable to Inpeco automation: HbA1c and Serum Protein Electrophoresis. Other tests such as Serum Immunotyping and Haemoglobin electrophoresis will follow soon.
