Streck Protein Plus BCT

Comprehensive and accurate characterisation of the plasma proteome is often complicated by the vast dynamic range of circulating plasma proteins (>10 log). Additional factors, such as blood cell stability, further contribute to the challenges of accurate plasma proteome analysis.

Streck Protein Plus BCT (RUO)* is specially designed to minimise the degradation and activation of blood cells, therefore abating the release of their proteins to better maintain plasma concentrations of key protein biomarkers from draw time.

Samples collected in Protein Plus BCT are stable for up to 5 days^ at ambient temperature, allowing convenient sample collection, transport, and storage. Protein Plus BCT contains an anticoagulant and proprietary preservatives in a liquid medium.
