Cell Marque Somatostatin Receptor 2A (EP149) Rabbit Monoclonal Primary Antibody
Last updated: 26th September, 2024
Somatostatin Receptor 2A (SSTR2A) is a protein highly expressed in pancreas binding somatostatin and inhibiting pancreatic enzyme secretion.1
SSTR2A is used as a marker for identifying meningioma from other spindle-cell tumors such as solitary fibrous tumor.2,3 SSTR2A is more frequently expressed in higher grade meningiomas and associated to its microvessel proliferation.4 SSTR2A has demonstrated utility as a diagnostic marker for follicular dendritic cell sarcomas and some other related tumors.5
