Vircell – Helicobacter pylori VirClia Ag Monotest
VirClia® Helicobacter pylori Ag Monotest – the fully automated solution for stool antigen detection
Infection with H. pylori is a major cause of gastric and duodenal ulcers, as well as a risk factor for gastric carcinoma and lymphoma. The detection of H. pylori antigen in stool is a reliable method used to aid in the diagnosis of infections in untreated patients.
Vircell has developed an innovative, fully automated single-test format for detecting H. pylori antigen in stool samples. This test simplifies sample preparation by eliminating the need for centrifugation, using a tube with a built-in filter instead.
Benefits of the H. pylori Ag Monotest:
- Flexible and fully automated solution.
- Fast and easy pre-analytical treatment, without centrifugation, using VIRCLIA EXTRACTION TUBE.
- Simple protocol with results in 1 hour.
- On-demand testing, 1 monotest = 1 reported test.
- Method based upon antigen capture using monoclonal antibodies.
- Individual quality control per monotest, no need for additional controls or calibrations.
- Excellent diagnostic sensitivity and specificity.
