Vircell – Oropouche-Mayaro Virus Real Time PCR Kits (RUO)

Vircell’s Oropouche-Mayaro Virus Real Time PCR Kits (RUO)* detects nucleic acid of the Oropouche (OROV) and Mayaro (MAYV) viruses in human serum and plasma samples.

In line with the current dengue season in the Southern Cone and an increased rate of Australians travelling overseas, differential diagnosis of ORO/MAYV through Real Time PCR is a crucial tool to rule out other arboviruses when the dengue test is negative¹. This allows for more accurate diagnosis and timely intervention².

Features of the Oropouche-Mayaro Virus Real Time PCR kits (RUO):

• 3 targets Multiplex PCR detection – one single reaction tube per sample.
• Kit format of 24 determinations: 3 individual strips of 8 wells.
• Internal bacteriophage MS2 RNA control for monitoring the carry-over of amplification inhibitors, sample integrity and the correct amplification set-up.
• Suitable for 3-channel qPCR cyclers.
• Lyophilized master mix and positive control to ensure stability and reduce transportation costs.
